Athletics Poem

 The Athletics sports day were usual enough;it had

long jump,high jump,shot put, discuss,

and even the long distance run 

that i never participated in.

My friends,my opponents and i 

did what athletes do- we participated in the sprints,

jumped into the long jump pit,

threw the discuss,flung our selves over the high jump,

clapped for the other athletes,used all of our 

strength in shot putand laughed when we made a mistake.

Having lots of fun.
