Mereana And Katie's Maths Assessment

WALT: Write and solve problems involving decimals

I think that we are at Extended Abstract because we showed that we know how to divide decimals and that we can teach someone else how to solve them.

Art Reflection

I think that I am at Multistructural because I used some of the tips on how to make a great cartoon, such as, I started with simple shapes, I made it a cartoon and not a portrait, I took my time, and I sketched the out line lightly and added details later.
I think that my next step is to make sure that the shading is only going in one direction.

The Coconut Octopus

The coconut Octopus adapts into its habitat in many ways.

The Coconut Octopus protects itself in many different ways, for an example, the Coconut Octopus carry's coconut and clam shells across the ocean floor to make fortresses for protection. Not only, but also, when the coconut octopus is a baby, it can even be found hiding in a bottle cap.

The Coconut Octopuses diet usually includes, shrimp, crabs, clams, and fish. When the Coconut Octopus hunts its prey, it ejects it with a paralyzing saliva before breaking them down into tiny peices with its beak.

The Coconut Octopus can usually be found in the sandy bottoms of bays and lagoons so that if it can not find a clam or coconut shell to hide in, it can just bury itself in the sand with only it's eyes showing.

Coconut Octopuses blend in with their surroundings in many unique ways.
